Data Protection Awareness Training
Mandatory
All full-time staff are required to complete the online Mandatory Data Protection Training on an annual basis. To strengthen awareness of data protection principles, the mandatory data protection training is modified with questions based on scenarios and case studies from the previous year. Participation and completion metrics are recorded.
The training program consists of three sessions i.e. research, student, and staff. Each session is complemented by a video and a descriptive overview. Following each session, participants are required to answer five questions thus fifteen questions in total for the training.

To complete this, you must correctly answer at least 10 questions.

You may retake the same questions if you submit incorrect answers.

No certificates will be issued.

For those who will join after 31st March, the schedule of training completion is as below:

Staff who join on or after 1st March, training completion date will be by 30th June.

Staff who join on or after 1st June, training completion date will be by 30th September.

Staff who join on or after 1st September, training completion date will be by 31st December.
